Desde hace mucho tiempo sentimos la necesidad de cumplir con un compromiso social y humanitario ayudando a los más necesitados y así agradecer y retribuir de alguna forma todas las bendiciones que recibimos a diario. Queridos amigos los invitamos a que se vinculen al proyecto y demos a esta Navidad un significado especial compartiendo con los menos afortunados.
El proyecto se llama Mochila para Navidad / Backpack for Christmas.
Como su nombre lo indica, vamos a llenar una mochila con artículos de higiene personal, no es solo un asunto de salubridad, sino de dignidad también. Esto le da oportunidad a un desamparado de recibir un mejor trato y hasta conseguir un empleo. Demos gracias a Dios ayudando a los que no tienen nada.
Que necesitamos para armar la mochila/backpack:
1 Mochila/Backpack tamaño regular. Por favor asegúrese de que este en buen estado y que todos los cierres y correas funcionen.
1 barra de jabón (No liquido porque ellos pueden utilizar la barra de jabón para lavar su ropa también)
1 toalla pequeña para bañarse el cuerpo
1 Cepillo de dientes
1 Crema dental
1 Peinilla
1 desodorante
1 máquina de afeitar
1 cortaúñas
1 rollo de papel higiénico
1 paquete de tampones
1 paquete de toallas higiénicas
Artículos Adicionales:
1 Bufanda
1 par de guantes
1 poncho para la lluvia
1 bandana
Comida enlatada fácil de abrir y Agua

In an effort to fulfill the altruistic portion of our mission and to help those in need, we want to pay forward all the blessings and fortunes that we’ve been granted.
The Colombian Cultural Association invites you to join us in our campaign Backpack for Christmas to give every this holiday season a sense of hope for those in our community that are going through hard times.
Backpack for Christmas, as its name implies, is a project in which you can help fill a backpack with personal hygiene items. Not only because it promotes cleanliness in the intended recipient, but because it brings about a better sense of self, embrace human dignity, promote better treatment by others and ideally, could even result in someone being able to find employment.
Here’s what we need to put together a backpack:
A backpack – Normal size, new or used but in good shape, with working straps and zippers.
A bar of soap – Preferably a bar, not liquid soap. This enables the recipient to use this to hand-wash their clothes
A small bath towel
A toothbrush
A tube of toothpaste
A comb or brush
A bar of deodorant
A razor
A finger nail clipper
A roll of toilet paper
Optional items:
A scarf
A pair of gloves
A rain poncho
A bandana
One easy-open canned good
Water
